Las Flores itself is a paradise. A beach deserving of its fame, composed of the breadth of the eastern beaches, a sandy seafloor, and a point formed by a high mountain cliff as well as a river that generates an inlet. Its wave travels almost a quarter of a km and contains fast sections with tubes, much like “hot dog” and “skate”. A wave that fascinates experts, but also attracts beginners.
By this beach, there is El Cuco, a small fisherman’s town that offers a small dock, posts with a variety of food from the area and a unique seafood menu. A popular tourist spot for Miguelanians, a large range of hotels can be found, from maximum luxury to family inns. The access is very simple, with bus routes and tourist tours.
