The Barra de Santiago is formed by a representative area of the mangroves of the pacific north of Central America, and sustains species and vegetation at the verge of extinction nationally, regionally and worldwide.
In this natural environment many sports are permitted such as fishing, water skiing, surfing, beach soccer, tours of the mangrove and protected area, and many others. It has easy vehicle access, public transport, a limited hotel offer and a wide range of outdoor eating areas.
